How long do I have to file a personal injury claim in Arizona?
Arizona's statute of limitations for most personal injury claims is two years from the date of injury under A.R.S. § 12-542. Claims against a public entity (city, county, state) have a much shorter 180-day notice requirement under A.R.S. § 12-821.01. Talk to an attorney as soon as possible after your injury.
